Eric released a statement in January 2006, saying tht h's commitment to his Bombshelter Studios got in the way of his band SpiralArms. The band decided to use replacement drummers for the time being, and Eric was eventually permanently replaced by drummer Chris Kontos in March 2006. The band announced the replacement on May 23.
Eric produced and co-mixed 'One Love' for the debut album 'Conscious Revolution' by Cipes and The People, featuring Greg Cipes. |

In late 2004, Eric produced three songs ('Stone Me Cold', 'Diamonds and Methadone', and 'Skyline a Go-Go') for the San Francisco band SpiralArms. The songs were mixed in February of 2005 at producer Sean Beavan's studio. Not long after that, the band was struck by bad luck as drummer Steve Jacobs sustained a debilitating shoulder injury that has prevented him from playing in the band for at least a year. Eric, who was in the producer's chair at that time, temporarily replaced Jacobs in March 2005.
In May of that year, the band announced that Eric was an official member of the band featuring James Walker on Bass, Tim Narducci on Guitars and Vocals, and Craig Locicero on Guitars. The band finished a photoshoot with Eric earlier in the month and headed into Eric's Bombshelter Studios on the 23rd to record new songs with Eric on drums. The first song the band recorded with Eric on drums was 'Gettin' Gone', it was posted to the band's MySpace on July 8.
In September 2005, bassist James Walker left the group. The band announced this news on their MySpace page. Eventually Walker would be replaced by bassist Chris Lombardo. The band also added Brad Barth on keyboards. |

Eric opened his own recording studio, Bomb Shelter Studios, in Los Angeles in 2004. Carved out of what was previously a fancy soap factory, Bombshelter boasts 100-year-old sandblasted brick walls, 16-foot-high ceilings and lots of space: think half-court basketball in the lounge. The recording area can hold a 44-piece orchestra; there are also three large iso rooms. The control room is big, too. Its centerpiece is a 48-input SSL G+ refurbished by Professional Audio Design; also part of the setup is an 8-channel vintage Neve sidecar. The inaugural session on Bombshelter’s new console was mixing for Fu Manchu with producer/engineer Brian Dobbs.
In 2004, Eric produced, mixed and engineered 2 Cent Penny's debut album. Some sources say that he also played drums on the record, but others claim drummer Kevin Stevens was brought in to lay down drum tracks. 2 Cent Penny consisted of singer Dan Ryan and guitarist Nalle Colt. Two songs that they recorded with Eric are 'Records Play' and 'Don't Let Me In'. They were featured in the Jorge Ameer film 'The House Of Adam'.
Eric produced the album 'A Face For Radio' by a band called Primate, featuring Skinlab guitarist Mike Roberts, Systematic bassist Nick St. Denis (on guitar), bassist Rik Miles and drummer Paul Hopkins. He is also credited as a mixer and engineer on this project. Primate eventually changed their name into RAZE the STRAY. No additional information is available.
In November, San Francisco band SpiralArms announce that they will be finishing the recording of a three-song demo ('Stone Me Cold', 'Diamonds and Methadone', and 'Skyline a Go-Go') at Eric's Bombshelter Studios. |

In 2003, Eric produced a 3-song demo for the band Man Made God, featuring guitarist Craig Locicero, drummer Steve Jacobs, bassist James Walker and singer Pann. |

On September 21, 1999, Eric played with Dean and Robert DeLeo as the backing band for Michael Cerveris, who plays Hedwig in 'Hedwig And The Angry Inch'. They performed nine songs at Club Vynyl in Hollywood, including a version of STP's 'Big Bang Baby', which Cerveris dedicated to Scott Weiland, who is serving jail time at that moment. The show, which also featured 'Hedwig' co-creators John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask, celebrated the start of the West Coast production of 'Hedwig,' which was produced by David Bowie. |
